You're invited...
May 12 -May 23rd, 2010
Spiritual Journey to the Magical Land of Peru

The Condor & The Eagle

You're invited to become a part of the prophesy that the condor (the symbol of the heart, the power to feel, and the people of the south) and the eagle (the symbol of the mind, the power of wisdom, and the people of the north) will fly in the same sky together as one, and when we do a great transformation will be at hand. Let the magic of this delicate and divine dance activate within you, join us as we journey in the lands and hearts of the Condors.

Spiritual Journey to the Magical Land of Peru

Come join me and my friend Carrie Golitz "the angel of Cuzco" for this spiritual adventure to the land of the Incas. This journey promises to be full of opportunities to grow spiritually in the most beautiful of ways by practicing meditation, immersing ourselves in shamanic studies, giving back to others, and experiencing a land and people rich in soul. Carrie and I will hold sacred space for each one of you, create ceremonies that deepen our connections to ourselves, and provide opportunities to selflessly serve others with random and planned acts of kindness. We intend with our whole hearts for you to receive the perfect medicines for your body, mind, heart, and spirit while with us in Peru. This journey will be an opportunity to connect to the land, the heart, and wisdom of the Incas. To connect deeply with the Earth, the four directions, and the Sun of all of life. The invitation is to experience the essence of the divine, the power to feel, and the world of spirit that are still very alive in this energetic center of the world, Cuzco, and to activate these forces into our lives more fully. This is a dream trip, and I hope you'll be a part of this awakening of prophecy.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive and enter into Cuzco the city that is much like a temple and hosts the rainbow as their flag. The Dalai Lama has said that he felt Cuzco is the energetic navel of the world. Cuzco was the heart and energy center of the Incas, a place designed by beings conscious of their divine origin and admired for their legendary feats. The elevation of Cuzco is 11,000 ft. and upward, helping facilitate the spirit to touch more expansive levels of being.
We will catch an early morning flight into Cuzco, get checked into the hotel , and ready for spiritual adventures that will last a lifetime. We begin our journey together with a welcoming ceremony and Coco leaf readings by a local shaman. The Coco leaf readings are very revealing, and can assist in setting goals and a focus for your spiritual growth on this trip.

Day 2: We will travel by train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the world. Aguas Calientes is a fun, small town that has excellent restaurants, Internet, a hot springs, having an Inca massage is an option there, and nice Andean markets to browse through that afternoon.Day 3: The plan is to take one of the first buses up to Machu Picchu where we will, if it's a clear day, see the sun rise over this magical city of stone. We will do a ceremony in Machu Picchu and be accompanied by a shamanic guide to connect more powerfully with the high energies present there. We will catch a late afternoon train back to Cuzco.Day 4: In the morning there will be an opportunity to give back by visiting the children at a local orphanage, Juan Pablo II. Then we will walk around Cuzco and get to know the city. After lunch, we will go visit and connect to several of the hundreds of ruins surrounding Cuzco. We hope to visit the Temple of the Moon and the Tunnel of Death and Rebirth if they are open. In the late afternoon, we will make a stop at the studio of a spiritual artist, Antoni. He is a master painter and his work is inspiring to behold. We will walk back into town through sacred sites.Day 5 & 6: We will be spending these days in community service and private ceremonies in and around Cuzco.

Day 7: We will meet with another shaman for a Despacho ceremony. This is a very beautiful High Andes ceremony of giving back to the world we live in through prayer and intention. The Despacho ceremonies are offerings that are made to Pachamama, the Mother Earth, or to the Apus, Guardian Spirits, of the High Andes.
Day 8: We will travel by car to the fertile Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visiting the towns, temples, and markets of Pisac & Ollantaytambo.

Day 9: The Inti Rayme Festival begins on June 24th. It is the Festival of the Sun. This celebration brings together tens of thousands of people from all over Peru and the world. We will walk up to the sacred site at Sacsayhuaman where the festival is held and participate with the spectators in the honoring of the sun, the Incas, the four directions, and the pure celebration of the day. (Note: There are bleacher seats available for this festival so you can see the stage and the events, those are not included for this day, but can be arranged if you would like them.)

Day 10: A day of your own leisure. Perhaps shopping & sight seeing around Cuzco or arranging private healing sessions. Farewell celebration and dinner.

Day 11: Soar home!

The cost of the trip: $1900. This includes costs of all the ceremonies listed, hotels (double and sometimes triple occupancy), internal travel costs to all the sites mentioned, entrance fees to all the sites mentioned, and breakfast. Carrie Golitz...

Hello everyone. I am from Denver, Colorado but I have been living in Cuzco, Peru for the past three years. I have a Contemplative Psychology degree from a Buddhist University called Naropa. After I got my degree I worked in the mental health system for four years and then I worked at the detox in Boulder, Colorado helping the homeless alcoholics for 3 years. While working in the mental health system I saw what I felt to be a huge overuse of psych meds, this caused me to explore alternative methods of healing using energy and nature. During this time I became interested in the healing techniques used by indigenous tribes in South America. For the past 10 years, I've been studying with numerous shaman & spiritual teachers including Don Alverto Taxo from Ecuador, Chamalu from Bolivia, Oscar Miro-Quesada from Peru, and the Qero Indians from the High Andes of Peru.

A few years ago I decided that I wanted to move to Peru and become fluent in Spanish. I talked about my plans with a Buddhist monk named Cielo. He looked at me and said, “THAT IS NOT SUFFICIENT!” He asked me, “What are you doing to help other people? You need to be helping people every day or else your life will have very little value.” Since this conversation I have been living in Cuzco, Peru studying the healing ceremonies of the Qero Indians, working with healers, and my life has taken on a more humanitarian nature. I am working hard with donations that I receive to relieve some of the suffering on the planet. I also enjoy being able to help other people connect to the ancient wisdom of the High Andes so that people have the opportunity to experience healing in their own lives.
